When our pitchers are?

our batters have fallen apart far more often than our pitchers. heck, we lost our first 3 or 4 games with our last two batters striking out looking.

Tonight PM fell apart. Not a gambler....does not know when to fold a pitcher nor when to hold one.

For once, I agree with someone commenting on Baseball.

I am going out on a limb tonight. I don't see Omaha in the cards this year. Very dissapointed in Trent Johnson and now this year's baseball team isn't given the masses anything to get excited about either. Maybe Les will get us excited again as Tiger Fans.
Looks like the baseball team is only going to make a serious run to Omaha every three years or so. Gotta have Freshmen pitchers..so I guess we are a "young" team just like basketball. Fricking sucks.

Biggest problem with hittng IMO has been getting behind too much in counts. Seems like most at bats start at 0-2/1-2 counts and then the rest of the at bat is being done defensively. Watch what ole miss did tonight. They lit up our first pitch fastball all night long while we watched theirs go by for called strikes.

Ole Miss hit the ball tonight. We didn't. Bottom line IMO.
ETA: Their pitcher threw strikes. Very few walks.

Our players watching the first strike is a coaching call.
