I don’t need to list off other threads cuz there’s an I told you so right here in this thread:

quote:

It's only weird when you don't realize that what you consider Negatigers are really the better fans for the program. The O fanboys do nothing to hold the coaching staff and administrations accountable for poor decisions which results into a slide into mediocrity.

Sure he didn’t use the words “I told you so” but it’s pretty clear that he saying that his opinion is correct while those who choose to look for positives are wrong.

He’s also implying that those with a positive outlook are the reason we lost to Florida cuz we accept mediocrity and what not.

If only we all bitched and complained all last week, then maybe we coulda won the game....

Todd, the problem lies with people. They fight. Nothing has changed since the beginning of man and woman. They were fighting and killing back then, and they are fighting and killing now.

Everything in Baton Rouge and a 50 mile radius revolves around LSU activities. Baton Rouge is a college town and fans have a tied identity to how LSU performs. If LSU wins, the fans feel like winners. When LSU loses , there is disappointment. No in between.

thats one poster in this thread, and I didn't respond to him because his opinion is hilariously misguided.

I highly doubt any of the grown men in here are saying "NAH UH I'M A BIGGER FAN THAN U R SO HA MY OPINION MATTERS MORE."

I've never heard a grown person say well I'm a bigger fan than you nah nah nah boo boo. That's so ridiculous to even ponder.

Well you haven't been looking. How many times are doubters called 'not true fans'?

a lot....a LOT....A LOT

Whatever it takes to make you feel better about yourself, by all means keep doing it.

You didn’t start this thread to say I told you so but a “misguided” individual made his way in here and did so all the same.

It happens in pretty much every thread.

Open up any thread of positivity and you’ll see “misguided” clowns telling them that they are stupid and that O sucks.

Every passionate fan base fights when things are up in the air.

Arkansas fans are pretty much all in agreement that they suck and they're on the wrong track so everyone is on the same page.

Alabama fans are all in agreement that they are great and on the right track so everyone is on the same page.

We have have a lot of unsurety atm, so people have a lot of differing opinions. It's been that way for years. It is what it is.

right I understand that, but again that really makes it seems like the “negative” posters are much fewer and far between than the posters who post threads like this:

Yep. Some folks around here like to crucify our coach every day, but I'll point out what all Coach O did this offseason -

He saw the weakness we had at kicker and he went out and signed Cole Tracy. Many of the natives around here went nutz questioning why would we waste a scholarship on a 1 year kicker.

Turns out Coach O knew what he was doing.

We had a few misses in recruiting and some holes to fill on our roster.
Coach O went out and signed DB Alexander, OG Lewis and OT Traore.

Then he went out and got Joe Burrow. And I am glad he did.

And he hired a full time Special Teams Coordinator.

All of these were great decisions. All of these guys have played significant snaps for us and/or started.

I can't imagine what our team would look like right now without Joe Burrows, Cole Tracy and Lewis. We might be 3-3 or 4-2 right now.

And then, Coach O took this young team to Dallas and put a whipping on Miami.

Then he took them to Auburn and lead us to a walk-off win and a temporary Top 5 ranking.

Because of Coach O's roster management and decisions, we are right there in the mix again.

Coach O didn't make this schedule. It's brutal, but... every single week we are in a big game with lots of eyes watching us, and although we haven't looked like the 2011 team... we have still looked damn good.

Yea, Coach O has us looking Damn good. The forward pass is BACK!

I am proud of the job he has done. No, it's not perfect. And yes, we are going to lose a couple more games this year..... but I do know this - this team is going to "fight these teams to the death".... and that's Coach O's mentality.
