Why didn't Burrow at least try a boot leg or two like the Ga and Miss St game?

of course we still wouldn't have won, but good night, that was about the wimpiest game plan since the 2016 Alabama game. That one at least made since as Etling was 'next man up' and Alabama's defense was ferocious. A turnover or two and we were doomed.

Not this year.Exasperated.

Prob bc he has to run the plays called by the offensive coordinator.

It is a law that you take a five step drop, Pat the ball twice say one hail Mary then you start your reads.

Always from a spot four and a half yards behind the center

Or at least teach him to progress through 2 reads then throw it away or deep as you can. It was a terrible performance by Burrow (and the line), but it is all on coaching. Gotta tell him to get rid of it if he can't find a clear running lane after his second progression. You just don't have the time against Bama, and if you thought you did before the game, it was obvious that adjustments needed to be made.

I'm sure that he was told not to run the ball. There were several times that it looked like he should've tucked it and ran.

well,I've already hung it out there in the header so I won't change it. By no means was I implying Burrow was calling the plays. My apologies.

Why didn't "LSU" at least try a boot leg?

We all knew what you meant. Burrow still has some fans that are very sensitive to his criticism.

E is the best coordinator in the game. You bet your arse you blame Burrow. O said he would hire the best OC in the business so you damn well know you cant blame the playcalling.

It’s easy to look good when you’re playing from ahead - which is what burrow has done for the majority of this season.

He looked like a deer in headlights. Seemed the moment was to big for him with addition to the offensive line no blocking anyone.

Coach O addressed this last week when he said he would love to run JB more but could not with only one other QB on the roster, 1.e. JB gets hurt, we could be screwed'

1st and 2nd and 3rd reason , Bama's D line was on him at the snap, no where to run, when he tried our O line did not hold Bama' D off of him ,
