why did we rush the field in 2018 when we beat UGA

they aren't even a tier 1 program and we're supposed to be, also haven't won anything since 1980 yet we took the role of the little brother underdogs cus they're always over rated at the beginning of the year

I’m trying to figure out why the freak we rushed the field after beating ole miss in 2014. We should never NEVER rush the field after beating ole miss.

The students were the only ones who rushed the field va UGA. They did it because it was fun

It was a huge win for the program at the time. They were ranked 2, had blown out everyone they had played and was a play away from winning a national championship just months earlier, we needed that to show we could win a big game under O

Agree and I have no issue with it. For a college kid any excuse to party is a good reason to party.
The significance of the UGA rush was it was the first big time, national level win for O. Our fanbase was at a low level of excitement because of those on the anti O bandwagon. Not suprisingly they enjoyed the spoils last year undeservedly and now are back in full force.

We didn’t rush the field, we’re just not use to staying for the whole game and didn’t know how to get out.

I know the program isn't in the same place as it was back then, but does anybody really look back at the '97 Florida game or '01 Tennessee game, and have a problem with it?
I like seeing big, unexpected wins celebrated by players and their classmates on the field together.
