Folk who keep bragging about "Sabans players" such as yourself

We could have gone undefeated in 05 and it wouldn't have mattered since it was pre UF skullfricking tOSU. Texas and USC were playing for the NC that year pretty much no matter what LSU did.
It would have been interesting to see if the Katrina factor would have gotten us in over Texas, though.

the proper time to run and throw and how did the AU 2006 game plan deviate from that?

There were more Saban recruits on each of those teams and the players had more coaching under Saban than the 2007 team. Since Les only road the coat tails of Saban's players, why did it take until 2007 to get the Crystal Ball?

Jimbo to frick us is the Auburn game,
you misspelled GRAND THEFT AUBURN as that game is known by...we were not winning that game regardless. 8 bad calls, no calls that game. 4 were drive killers that kept us from scoring or getting more than we scored. we were playing a top 10 sec team ON THE ROAD! when 4 drives in enemy territory are stopped thanks to the refs you ain't winning. not against a top 10 sec team on the road. they fricked us. if somehow davis got into the end zone on that final play, trust me, a holding flag was going to come out of the referee or umpire's pocket. FACT!

He blew a 21 point lead at home in 2005. He scored 3 fricking points against Auburn in 2006 with 3 first rounders on offense. In 2007 he should've gone to the Sugar Bowl again, but the most ridiculous events ever took place and LSU jumped from 7 to 2 in the final poll. It was the only year that a 2 loss team won the title. He didn't do anything different in 2007 than he did in 2005 and 2006, same record. In fact he fricked up even worse as he lost TWO MOTHERfrickING GAMES TO UNRANKED TEAMS WHILE BEING RANKED NUMBER frickING ONE.
I just love the way "LSU FANS" try degrade one of their favorite teams National Championships in order to put down coach Miles.
We lost those two games that year because Matt Flynn put us in such a hole by making bonehead mistakes in the 1st half of both games and in the overtime game against Arkansas.

put down coach Miles.
I swear you people are arse backwards.

quote:The short passes (a Jimbo specialty) were the equivalent of runs. We didn't stretch the field until it was too late and we had too, as drizz said. By then, they were in prevent and kept us from scoring, the refs called bogus penalties, or JR ran around and tried to scramble instead of throwing it away. The game was a clusterfrick of epic proportions.
Yea, that Les just wouldn't quit running the damn ball.

because Les botched the most talented LSU team in 20 years in 2006?
I forgot, LSU has to win the NC every year b/c we have by far an away the most dominant talent in the country...no one is close right? So the only way we could ever possibly lose is due to coaching? Is that right?
Unreal. Expect greatness, but appreciate the program we have and what we accomplish.

Sorry...didn't mean to put down the player even though it sounded that way. I was a Matt Flynn fan and was glad to have him. My point was in those two games we lost that year Matt Flynn had two of his worst games as a starter. He uncharacteristically threw into double coverage early in those games which turned into INT's. And he rushed his throw in overtime against Arkansas. I'm not trying to bash the player...I'm just stating what happened in the 2 losses.
I am trying to defend our national championship because some "LSU fans" try to take credibility away from our national championship.

Here is a little reminder of how bad the Auburn game officials were. As someone posted earlier it was the worst I ever have seen. They had to be paid off. Worse than the Bama game this year.

No coach or different coaching was going to beat Auburn with this advantage.
