No, there is one good conference that has most of the good programs in CFB. Then there is the Big Ten that has Ohio State, Oregon, maybe Michigan and then a huge drop off.

Oregon, Ohio Star, Michigan, penn State is usually decent.

the SEC is better too to bottom but we don’t have 8 top teams.

Because some conference champs don’t belong. Guarantee them a spot and then get the best out there. Still a little tweaking to do but 12 is a good number. Adding more teams will diminish the regular season games.

I don't particularly want conference champs. I want the 6-8 BEST teams. Eye test and BCS type ranking.
