Why did TGBFTL show up so late to the game against La Tech?

I've been going to games for 40 years in Tiger Stadium and I've never seen the band arrive 25 minutes before kickoff. They missed the full team coming out for warmups. They arrived so late they didn't even get a chance to sit in their sits before they had to run down to the field for pregame. The music playing over the PA didn't even stop to hear the band arrive in their seats. Zero music from the band before playing down on the field.
That's inexcusable.

Heard that Kiffin has kicked the band out of the practice facility, where they have tragically been allowed to rehearse - also that he isn’t happy with the down music because it interferes with the hurry up. Is there a statement being made?

Both bands in the clemson game were playing WAY further into the snap than I always remember. There were times when the band was still playing and the ball was snapped 2 seconds later

They don't typically use the indoor facility on game days anymore. This changed a number of years back.

I left the PMAC thinking they weren’t coming, but they did.
They know not to play during live action. If course we had 38 first downs vs Clemson and they play the hold the Tiger chant on every first down. They shortened it vs Tech.

I don't know the reason why, but the band left the PMAC at ~5:00-5:15 and went into the basketball practice facility. I was stopped in front of them on my way to the stadium.
Maybe they stayed in there for a while longer than usual for heat-related safety reasons (hydration break) before heading into Tiger Stadium??

In fairness, when is the last time that we snapped the ball so quickly??
