But when Les Miles constantly backs his players and takes responsibility for the ole miss game...

I can understand the dislike in 3/4ths of 2010 and the championship game of 2011, but people placing the blame on him for 2009 are ridiculous.

I wrote this in a post yesterday:

quote:

JJ 2166 yards 17 TDs 171 rush yards 1 TD
Running backs 1503 yards 14 TDs

------------------------------------------

That was the problem with 09. The offensive line was atrocious and we couldn't run the ball for shite when we were a run first team. JJ was the #2 QB in the country in the RZ that year, but we couldn't run the ball to save our life.

In Cam's offense, we are balanced with more big plays downfield. Expect Jennings with something around 2600 yards and 23 TDs with another 300 yards on the ground and 6 TDs. Run game should be way better because the whole offensive line should be back. Collins could go, but IDK.

.........................................

For reference of running games (RBs & FBs Only):
2008 - 2011 yards 24 TDs
2009 - 1503 yards 14 TDs 13 GAMES
2010 - 1978 yards 22 TDs
2011 - 2550 yards 32 TDs
2012 - 2481 yards 29 TDs
2013 - 1521 yards 23 TDs 8 GAMES

That was a response to the people who expected some major drop in production next year.

Bc he was the starting qb.

The rants hates LSU.

Espn consistently speaks better about LSU and Miles than the rant.

He was a player for LSU and played to the best of his ability. It's not his fault he was constantly put in a position to fail. Someone refresh my memory on why he was hated so much please.

Kicked a guy in the head that one time.

Local media described him as the Karnell Hatcher of the QB position.

He did do really well in the latter half of 2008-2009. Regressed big time from there though.

Boy that 2010 Arkansas loss was a real hoot. Glad we could relive that one.

What's there not to get fella? People hated Jefferson for sucking and not taking responsibility. Miles takes full responsibility and is still hated by many.

Not really. I still don't know why people think that. Was there some epic thread or something?

I agree. Didnt we go 11-2 his jr year and 13-1 his senior year, with an Sec title? And I don't remember losing to ole miss. We very well could have more losses this year than JJ's last 2 combined.

you are an idiot. Jefferson had the best defense in the sec. Mett has to get the offense to score in the 30's to win the game.

Why doesn't somebody just go ahead and give the OP what he wants?

He wants everybody to say that it's because JJ is black, and that LSU fans are racist.

Why else would somebody bring this up 22 MONTHS LATER?
