NO. It is a very big issue to many. It is baffling, it is infuriating.

WHY is LM doing this, does not make sense. Surly there must be more that we do notknow.

It's kind of funny how Lee was being praised by everybody for sticking with the Tigers, stepping into a screwed up situation (thanks to JJ), and leading the team to great wins. Along comes Bama, two rare interceptions and then he's nothing but a backup who doesn't deserve any snaps except to take a knee if lucky. People have really short memories....

First of all, I am a Miles guy. But as much respect that I have for the guy as a coach, leader, man of character, etc . . . this move blows my mind. I truly HOPE that there is something going on behind the scenes that justified this action, b/c I do not know how you could do this to a player who has shown nothing but class on and off the field for 5 years. I was pissed when all JL got was a kneel down in the Cotton Bowl last year when he had earned reps during the year, constantly bailing out JJ. And I was BEYOND pissed yesterday for that bull s---. As Roger said earlier, I honestly would've declined to go in the game, and I don't know just how polite I would've been about it (again, assuming that JL hasn't screwed the pooch academically - which I doubt, since he was allowed to play - or attitude wise, which I don't know if you can blame him). Of course, getting booted off the team wouldn't be the smartest course of action, and I'm sure he realizes that and has swallowed his pride somewhat.

And for the record, I fall into the "both QB's are average, they both bring skill sets to the table we need" crowd, not the slobber fest both ends of the spectrum has. I wish Miles would've just said "this is JJ's team" after Bama and this would not be the cauldron of crazy it is today.

Agreed. Miles knows better than me who needs to be on the field, so no problem there, but he shouldn't have put JL in for the knee. It was like throwing JL a bone after feeding JJ the steak. And he should have pulled Jarrett Lee to the front of that awards dais to hold up that trophy. JL deserved at least that much

--------------------------------------------------

JL should have refused to go in. After all, the way Jefferson was playing he did nothing special except for maybe two passes. JL could have went in and handed off the ball just as well as JJ did.
Miles did JL a great unjustice. If there is a problem why wont he just say so! I'm kinda disapointed the way this is turning out. Without JL's play LS and U would not have gotten this far.

Lee should have "disappeared" before that last play -- emergency "dump" or something -- If I were Lee there is no way in hell I would have gone into that game to take a knee. Les could kiss my arse and I'd tell him that. Lee has saved Les Miles and JJ's butt many times and doesn't deserve to be treated like shite.... and I am happy as can be over this years undefeated record.... but Miles does the dumbest things at times !
