That is an awful reason. Steele was hired because of the clause in the contract. After letting one of the best coordinators in college football walk on a disagreement, what coordinator wants to come here?

Don't fool yourself. Steele was hired because he was one of the few people we interviewed that didn't insist on bringing along his own assistants. You want to start a head coaching search with the stipulation that Wilson, Grimes, Orgeron, Raymond, etc. MUST be retained?

What?? Malzhan? He lost to Miles. So did Mullen, with the best player in their history. McIllwain? That's a joke. He's supposed to be an offensive coach, and his offense is a joke. He could, possibly should, have lost five games including home losses to Vanderbilt and Florida Atlantic.
