He/she is talking about women's basketball.
To answer the OP's question, LSU CAN have a good basketball program. It's just a matter of finding the right HC. Just like Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, etc.
They may have had that guy and got rid of him. They certainly don't have him now. But the HC makes all the difference

They did IMHO, we can and have and will debated the decision that was made and reasonable arguments can be made on all sides.
