Rushed for over 673; 12 td’s

Cam rushed for 1473 with 20 td’s. Conveniently left that out.

Because throwing for over 30 tds means you werent run 1st.

Agree to disagree

So were Jennings and Harris. Jordan Jefferson too. The fanbase is tired of qb's who can't pass year after year. Why ? It's mind numbing how many pitiful passers LSU has had in the fold the last 10-12 years.
So out of curiosity, who on the roster during those times should’ve started/played instead? Whose fault is that?

Not huge fans of any of those guys, but I think they were the best we had.

I agree,it is ridiculous how much flack this kid is getting, for Chris sake he was playing in his 3rd game, with a whole cast of new characters.
It time to realize that Daniels is our qb and will be for the rest of the season.

My concern is his size. And the amount of risk he takes running the ball. Its a mtter of time before he takes a huge hit. Then what?

Pointing out areas where he needs to improve doesn't mean that we don't want him to succeed.

This.
This
This.
I really like Daniels. He seems like a top class person and his running ability already considered great may even be more than that.

“We” (likeminded people) don’t just want him to evolve for LSU but also himself. Not sure what his ceiling is but I can’t imagine he’ll go far professionally without evolving his passing and read game.

But I’m constantly thinking the opposite of you: “why is everyone on Rant in love with this guy, when we CONSTANTLY have WRs streaking wide open down the field and he doesn’t get the ball to them

It’s because our best QB is a Freshman and he wants to Redshirt. Our other QB played against Southern and was not impressive. So our best option for QB is playing and he is improving. So what other option do you see or do you just enjoy complaining?

I would say 97% off the fan base supports him and a small minority doesn’t. People are just upset about the criticism, you can criticize and still like the kid. Life isn’t sunshine and rainbows, the criticism is fine but people have to stop thinking you hate the player if you criticize him. The fans are making this a bigger deal than it actually is. I think the ones criticizing him are the same ones saying that Nuss is careless with the ball and forces throws. It’s okay to point out the obvious if it’s objectively true.

We have great receivers that aren’t getting the ball. And at times are wide open

Because for 15 years we have signed nothing but QB's that can't throw

It should never happen once, much less for 15 years. If you can't throw you aren't a QB, it's that simple

Beat Bama? We need to be concerned about trying to win 7-8 games at this point.

The problem people have is that we have some special receivers that are open. I feel bad for Daniels that he can’t pull the trigger and get it to them. I think he’s a good guy and I pull for him but he’s just not capable of running a basic passing system for whatever reason.

Exactly - arguably the best receivers in college football.

Because LSU never plays the best QB. The best QB is always left on the bench
