So why can't they set up some kind of pool where people who know they can't make the game(s) can donate their tickets for charity or resale?
because then they couldn't be lazy and do what they want without possible ramifications.

It's absolutely true. One of my best friends here in Dallas is an OU ticket holder. He believes it has been very succesful in keeping the stadium full. I have been with him, it has been packed every time. He said they got the idea from SEC schools, which ones I am not sure....

I had tickets to the Kent St game. I had 4 tickets and only needed 2. I tried all week to give them to folks at work FOR FREE. No takers. At the tailgate I offered them to folks that walked by FOR FREE. no takers.
I ended up just placing on top of a bollard near the stadium. No one came and sat next to us.
So my buddy that gave me those 4 tickets would be penalized for not using 2 tickets.
I had the same issue with the Auburn game.

so you're saying there aren't other people willing to do this and actually attend the games?

I think I said my seats are used for every game, and handicap seats at that that go to a young child in a wheelchair,in bad health that loves LSU. I hope you are not saying you have a problem with that

i have had times where I couldn't get rid of mine for free as well.LSU would have to allow you to go online and void your tickets so that they could try to sell them to make this whole thing work.

do I get a refund, or does LSU get paid twice for the same tickets?
Does LSU get 20% (hypothetical) of the resold tickets to cover admin expenses and I get the remaining 80%?
Will they only be sold at face value, or to the highest bidder (often less than face value for crappy games)?
If LSU can't re-sell them, do I still get penalized?

as the head of LSU athletics don't you think it would take priority to make sure all season ticket holders do as you do? Money is great but i mean how simple would it be to go online, void your tickets and make them available through the LSU ticket system to anybody willing to buy them?
