I said realistic as in QBs playing of LSU right now. Realistic as in terms of reality not fantasy football where you pull names out of a hat.
LSU has no alternative now! Support the team support our players. Tearing this kid apart accomplishes absolutely nothing! Except maybe to make yourself feel better is some strange way.

Pick any first year starter you want....Jarrett Lee is worse than any of them. Hes a miserable POS.

Stafford had 7 TDs an 13 INTs his freshman year, how is that not that bad?

Well you would know about being a miserable POS.
According to your profile you're 43 years old, and you've come to this board and LITERALLY every single post you've made has been a negative post towards Lee.
That is not an exaggeration, you have not posted anythin on any other subject, other than Lee.
How fricking miserable is that?

Lee is the first quarterback that i have seen that is the games most valuable player. He makes both teams look good and bad.
I do admire him for not giving up. At this point we should try to support him as much as possible.

damn you are dumb. their oline and playmakers are nowhere near lsu's right now. Lee would have 30 ints fir them. while jc would have 1 loss for lsu.
Have you seen Notre Dame's Recruiting Classes?
Have you seen their schedule?
The comparison is absolutely fair.

Like Matt Stafford? It depends on how well they fit into the offense and how complex the offense is.

Has anyone mentioned Garcia from S. Carolina? I didn' t read the entire thread, but he is a redshirt freshman who looked pretty good against us when we played them. Looked far more composed than Lee has. But Lee might be coming around with his second half performance against Troy.

How many passes did Tebow throw his freshman year? Point being they gave him some game experience before being a starter. Lee did not have that luxury.

Hopefully, this is a momentum builder from here on out. If Lee gets it going, it may just give him the confidence he needs to keep rolling.

Auburn was on a 14-game winning streak and ranked #11 in nation under coach Terry Bowden when LSU traveled to Auburn in 1994, but it was the Bengal Tigers who led 23-9 entering the fourth quarter. LSU quarterback Jamie Howard threw five fourth quarter interceptions - three returned for touchdowns - as Auburn extended their winning streak to 15 games with a 30-26 win. Auburn, with star running back Stephen Davis, was held to a mere 165 total yards, and Howard received death threats after the loss

What I like about Coach Miles and Coach Crowton, is that they never gave up on the young man (J. Lee). Let the young man learn this year and next year LSU Offense will be as good as new.
