How anyone could have complimented Dunn's hiring who did not question Sanchez's retention either has an agenda or is obliviously ignorant.

If you accept mediocrity then don't start bitching now. This guy didn't just stick out like a sore thumb yesterday or even this season.

His ineptitude has stretched across several years. Dunn's hire should have pissed you all off. Not because he isn't great...he definitely is.

But why frick our hitters by not hiring a quality person for them as well?

The Godfather loves his Godson...he shields him even when it hurts our team and program.

How about a lack of truly good hitters.

Guarantee no one on this team would start for Florida except maybe Rhymes.

The ace for SB today threw just 68 strikes in 127 pitches. LSU drew just 4 walks and had a terrible approach at the plate. A base running problem also struck again. These are recurring themes.

They are not over-powering obviously but have incredible arm-side run on their sinkers and work the shin guards all day and pound the strike zone. You aren't going to score many runs against that. You have to manufacture your runs and I think Maineri is trying but it just hasn't worked out to this point. To me, the key is to grind out at bats and get into their bullpen. Our depth at that point should prevail. Make no mistake though...These guys are legit. You don't have 7 draft picks on your team unless you are damn good.

This is what we aren't doing well, IMO. We certainly didn't today.

This loss may be a good thing. Teams that believe that they destined to win, usually don't.
And even I was thinking destiny after yesterday and this morning.

We need to offer the SB coach a contract before they leave tomorrow. He can recruit and coach.

they did pitch 2 solid guys.

we actually got to their "best pitcher drafted" in their closer.. as LSU has done quite well over all-american-like closers this season.

i look for the team to get it going early tomorrow as they did in the first game today.

I hear ya, but 4 walks is a more than respectable number and baserunning is a whole another argument. I'm referring more to the fact that we only had 3 hits. I didn't see guys spinning off the sinker trying to pull it, I just saw a guy painting up with great movement when he needed to. Sometimes you have to just say the pitcher got us today. The running out of innings, etc. is another topic of discussion.

This team has not hit consistently all year. Bad approach at the plate and lack of proper hitting fundamental. Need to,go out and hire a good fundmentaly sound hitting coach. Javi, not the answer and has to go .

Not hitting is one thing...terrible at bats is a coaching problem.
