Because coveted coaches are afraid to risk their career trajectory by hitching their wagon to Orgeron after he got exposed last year. They all know his seat is molten, so why would they make a jump onto an already sinking ship.

O hiring Pelini and fielding the worst defense in school history put us in this position. Delegating search duties to his personal assistant who is largely unqualified in that area, and then having said assistant leak info to the media has put us in this position. So yeah, it’s O’s fault.
