Why are we playing them next year because he already have a really hard schedule why add another hard game? The people at LSU who scheduled this are stupid

Seriously kid, go read your own posts...it's obvious to everyone you are very young and very naive at this point. I'm positive one day you'll be a great and knowledgable sports fan, but trust us on this one, right now you aren't even close!

Actually I think frank Beamer would agree with you. He said he would never schedule an opener like he did this year against Boise ever again. His team wasn't quite ready for that game. The only downfall I could possibly see for us is that if mettenberger wins the starting job, that's a tough 1st start for him. But we should be fine

It's almost a can't lose situation. Even if they do beat us & we run the table we'll be right there n the discussion for the BCSCG

Maybe we should open with Little Sisters of Charity - a big win over them will carry much more weight with the voters than a close game against a team which may be the defending NC.

How about... we are going to play Oregon... because... it's FUN?

Ever think of that, OP?

Don't go through life afraid of everything... sheesh. What kind of TIGER are you anyway?

Some people really enjoy and appreciate big games between big teams to open the season. USCw and The Ohio State, Tex and The Ohio State, Miami, the U and The Ohio State.

see a pattern?

LSU's 2007 victory over Va Tech got them into the BCS champ game.

PS: LSU plays @ WV next year, after the Oregon game.

Bring them on. Having a premier schedule is great.
