Because ESPN pays a lot of money for the NCAA tournament and they want ss many hours of programming as possible on their two main platforms.

How would the number of programming hours change by starting the west coast game later than the central game?

I swear you retards don’t even think before posting.

Maybe ESPN and NCAA got together and found out it might rain somewhere on earth between 10:00am and 5:00 pm?

Most logical explanation honestly

Because ESPN also thought the 7-time CWS champion would be a bigger draw in prime time.

People on this board whine like little girls when the football games are in the daytime and when the baseball games are at night.

Develop some backbone.

It was 10pm CT when the third inning ended last night.

They want it on nationally. It’s a regional final game 7. Happens one time a year. Deal with it dude
Its going to suck ratings wise no matter when it’s played

It’s a college baseball regional where one of the teams is Little Rock

Only place that watches minimally is southeast part of the country. Putting it at 8pm central (9 eastern) hurts the already minimal ratings not helps it

Neither game will draw a worthwhile audience for them.
