The 2008 team had some tough breaks early on, and they sure as hell didn't stand there and watch pitches go right down the middle of the plate. This team looks more like the 2011 team.

I agree it could happen but you have to admit it is not looking good. I have not been this disinterested in a team in a long time. Pitching is not what we thought, hitting is non existent and the defense is nothing to write home about. The biggest bright spot has been Tanks in the field. Kling, Pearson, and Neal have been disappointing. There is always tomorrow I guess.

That was definitely an absolutely pitiful, embarrassing at bat.

I agree with everything you stated. I just saw something from JJ last season makes me think he’s got that extra motivational touch kind of like a Skip. I mean last year’s club looked horrific after Skenes. Then it didn’t. The rest was history. I ain’t counting out this Coach Johnson team yet, no siree.

You’re right, and I’ve overreacted countless times, so I totally get it. None of us enjoy these shite results. But I believe it’s all about to change.

Vitamin D3 will do the trick. My doc recommends 4,000 i.u. per day. He refers to it as Vitamin ‘Dick.’ LoL

That's an impossible standard to hold someone to.

There is way too much parity in this sport. Sure you see some teams go on multi-year super regional runs these days, but usually that's a culmination of cycle.

Last year's team was a roster that was at the end of its cycle, not the beginning.

With everything we had to replace, this was always going to be a rebuild year.

Could this team frick around and make a random run to the Super Regionals after going on the road in a regional? Sure, it happened in 2021. But this team is not talented enough to make a run to Omaha.
