Why are some of you giving up so early into the season?

What if we win the next 2 at Arkansas? That puts us at 4 & 5. We could still have an above average sec season, maybe 17 & 13 or so, and we could still win a regional, then win a super and on to Omaha. This shite is far from over. Our talent is going to come through!

Have you watched this team so far? Same pattern!

Where's the offense going to come from? Three people (White, Travinski and Jones) can't do it all.

Tennessee started 5-10 last year - finished season in Omaha.

Of course I have. But again, don’t count em out yet. This team is going to get on a nice roll.

They weren't getting run ruled two weeks in a row.

Others are going to start hitting. You’ll see.

This is a bad team. Bottom half SEC for sure.

Plain and simple.

Its ok to have a rebuild year after winning the Natty. Lost a LOT of players from
2023.

Theyll be back competing for the title in 2025.

Good point, and I believe we have more talent than that Tennessee club from last year.

I get your thinking, but we ain’t the mississippi state moo cows or the old miss pussy rebels. Coach Johnson was hired to reload and go to Omaha every year. We are going to Omaha this season too. I don’t believe we’ll have enough to win it all, but we are definitely one of the best 8 teams in the country by season end.

I sure did not think we would be a like State and OM after winning a tittle but we are looking more and more like we are following in their foot steps.

But wasn’t Manure’s 2008 club really sorry until like half way through the sec 30 and then flipped a switch and all the way to Omaha? I’ve learned to never count these boys out!

Yeah my cousin figured i was smoking crack. But I keep thinking about last season how sorry all our pitchers - EXCEPT Skenes - were performing and how we turned on the jets and kicked arse and took names thereafter. I remember in ‘96 Skip’s pitching - EXCEPT Yarnall, was getting absolutely pulverized by Jim Wells’ Alabama and then by a mediocre Kentucky. I’ve been following this for a very long time. I think Jay Johnson has some Skip Bertman in him, and Johnson is a recruiting machine. We will be in a super regional this season, and I think we’ll go to Omaha.
