I'm not. It's the fact that every time we loss to bama, we never got a shot to go to the playoffs.

Why should they be any different?

Tua will be able to run and they dropped two TD passes. Close game.

I don't think people trust what they saw yesterday, so in that sense they are scared.

This wasn't a game that we barely won. The last Bama score was illusory. I don't know what people think would change in a rematch.

In a game in which we barely won and could've gone either way, sure I get not wanting to play that team. But this wasn't the case yesterday.

It would be an Honor to play that team (Alabama) again this season.

And it will have to remain so, because, there is NO WAY that a one-loss Alabama team misses the Playoffs. No way.

The Committee will put a one loss Bama team in the Playoffs no matter whether they have to leave an undefeated team out or not. Period.

Because I fricking don’t want to? Jesus. Tired of them getting free passes to the dance without having done shite to earn it. They get another shot at us on what merit?

LSU was the better team. The game really shouldn’t have been as close as it was. Take away the punt return and the flukey play over Stingley in the first half and we are REALLY blowing them out. LSU can beat that team again. Ohio st and Clemson worry me more than having to play Bama again.

I really don't think that it's because LSU doesn't want to play Bama again (although nobody wants to play Nick Saban twice).

My take is that the angst is because the ridiculousness and flaws in the current playoff system are becoming clearer every year.

This could be the second time in three years that Bama fails to win it's own fricking division yet is rewarded with a veritable bye week while LSU and UGA put their seasons (and possible injuries) on the line in Atlanta.

I don't care how you slice it, it is utter bullshite. The system is clearly flawed.

As it stands, college football's tagline goes something like this:

"Welcome to college football, where every game matters...unless you're Alabama. If you're Alabama, you can lose your toughest game every year and skate by on your reputation."

They wont get in if their only impressive win is Auburn however we win again big on a neutral field.Their D just doesn't have the players to stop LSU's offense this year.

Exactly. On what objective merit do they kee getting the benefit of the doubt besides having a crimson uniform and good players? This isn’t national signing day. Games have to matter, not just who you think is the subjectively “best” team.

This post says it all...its not that we're scared, it is just they are NOT deserving!
Why don't we forget names of programs...judge on SOS, wins against top 25 etc. Bama would rank near the bottom. Jesus, what is it going to take to have them judged fairly!
We play a schedule like that and we'd be crucified and not even given a chance. But, Bama...we'll, they pass the "eye test!" WTF does that mean!

Simply put, we shouldn't have to worry about this crap this year....we beat them at home...DONE!!!!!!!!!!

No one's scared, we just don't want them to get another chance again. Bring us new blood, Bama can get a redo next year like everybody else.

Auburn's DL will pressure the hell out of Tua and Auburn will win in a lower scoring game preventing Bama from even thinking about a playoff.

Also had an unforced fumble in the red zone and botched a punt.

Rematch, the loser of the first game almost always wins the second.

The loser works hard to adjust and studies mistakes. The winner rests on their laurels and doesn't change shite for the rematch...see Les Miles.

Scared isn't the word. LSU BEAT Alabama at THEIR home stadium. Why is it fair at all to this LSU team to be expected to beat Alabama again to win the national championship? This especially knowing that Alabama winning any rematch gives THEM the trophy for beating LSU once out of two meetings. So one team has to beat the other one TWICE to get the championship but Alabama gets to just split games for the same reward? This is in no way fair to LSU. The 2011 LSU team was shafted big time by the BCS when Alabama was allowed that rematch. This should never be allowed to happen again. As far as I am concerned, yesterday's game was Alabama's chance and they LOST. Deal with it.
