Hogg - walk
Arrembide - double into left field corner scores Hogg from first base.
Priester - singles to score Arrembide.
After 3 innings 7-0

Costello has made a little noise with the bat this fall. I think he has some upside potential.

I’m cooked. We moved after suffering the first game in the sun. Enjoyed the shade for the 2nd. Thankfully it was only a 30 min drive home.

Jays biggest problem will be keeping these fr position players happy
I hope they don’t hit the portal and wait their turn because you can already see the talent

You can never have enough pitching depth but this staff has plenty of it

They won't quit quite as easy as you did nick. Plus they lose 3/4th's of the infield next year

Arrembide leads off bottom of 6th with a sharp single to left.
Priester follows with an infield single.
Runners move up on a wild pitch.
Costello does his job with a ground ball to first, scores Arrembide from 3rd. Priester advances to 3rd.
Dalton Beck smashes a RBI single to cf,

They all did a good job of throwing out runners that attempted to steal a base. At least 5 times that I remember.

I watched the first 11 innings. Kind of boring, wind blowing pretty hard straight in from LF.

-Larson, Stanfield and Jones all hit balls very hard to likely died with the wind.

-Samford's defense was putrid. Their pitching was better than I thought it would be.

- Braswell booted two balls that were probably not errors, but tRant would have flipped out. Dickinson played SS to start G2 and immediately made an error on a pretty routine play to his left.

-Hernandez threw two runners out in G1. He has a hitchy throw release, but a cannon when he gets it out. Left the game after taking a backswing to his left elbow. Had a hit in G1 too.

-LSU batted 10 with an extra DH (Brown and Pearson). They have a dearth of LHH outfielders. Will be curious to see how it plays out.

-Curiel is going to start I think, at least against RH.

- LSU scored on some seeing-eye hits early in G1 led by Hernandez, Braswell, and Brown. Dickinson had a nice bunt single. Jared jones stole a base

-Casan Evans got punched around a bit at the end of GM1, but did K the side in his final inning to get out of a jam. Shores also K’d the side earlier in the game.

- Between Shores, Ware & Evans over 7innings in GM1 prob had 10-11 Ks

-Kade Anderson started GM2 & looked smooth & in control. Eyanson relieved and just an effortless looking thrower & athlete. He looked 92-93 but you can tell he could prob get into the mid 90’s.

Samford hit him hard from the get go. I expected him to be taken out, but being an exhibition game, I guess Jay was willing to concede the outcome of the game.

I think they had the pitching set up from beginning to end. Only the ones they used were written on the lineup card, and he was the last one
