i really hope we are!!! i actually have a hookup for tickets in omaha this year and i'm going to be able to go now that i won't have to worry about high school football stuff since i've graduated. I would love to go to the CWS to cheer on our tigers

You have to respect a man who plans his entire life around LSU being in Omaha, so much so that this guy moved there just so he'd be close for the CWS.

I hope whoever told you this isn't offering you general admission tickets. I was able to order those 4 days before the CWS last year.

I'll be a week late, but I'm 100% going Friday the 19th if we're still in action.
The question is... is it easy to aquire tickets for the 2nd weekend and the championship series? And can I drink with any of you fellas once I get there?

Great for the CWS... not so great for football season. We only make it to one or two home games in Tiger Stadium, and of course our Bowl Game. However, the 11 - 12 days of the CWS are incredible and we wouldn't miss it.

Early in the series, tickets can be tough to find (lots of locals). However... as teams get eliminated, tickets are easier to grab. General Admission tickets are available and you can upgrade them to reserved seats.
According to those who have lived here forever... the only time reserved seat upgrades sold out was when the Cornhuskers were playing in the CWS.

Hey OmahaLSUfan...how long you been up here? I've been here for about 12 years and must say that these two weeks in June make living here in corn land bareable.

Moved to Omaha in January 2006. Prior to that we lived in Atlanta, Tallahassee, Panama City Beach, and Charleston SC.
We love Omaha... great place to live! We both agree that the CWS is the highlight of our year... well worth the move... despite the bitter cold sometimes. We just counter that with winter trips to Vegas, Cancun, and Hawaii.

I am currently in spokane, WA on a project and I plan to fly from here to Omaha if it all works out right for the weekend of the 18th-21st
If not, that weekend I'll go to Vegas
