Took it out of context dumbass, gotta be competitive to be a rival by the definition I originally answered the question to.....Miss st. And Arkansas have not been our bitches like in the time frame I gave... how many 14 year old punks are on this damn board?

We don't really have a proper rival.
I mean from our standpoint there are a few games we either markdown each year or have some historical back and forth.
Alabama
Ole Miss
Florida
Auburn
But I think the rival tag should go both ways. Alabama/Auburn have each other plus UT and UGA, Ole Miss has State, Florida has UGA and Florida State.
A&M makes the most sense for us to develop into a true rivalry game, especially now that they don't play Texas. But there was the gap in playing each other and A&M hasn't beat LSU in decades. Now that they play every year, if some back and forth develops in the series...it could develop over time.

Considering the tremendous rivalry we have with them, the animus between the two teams, and the tremendous home field advantage the teams have in their games, there's no question that Auburn is LSU's chief rival.

Have you visited College Station and witnessed in person some of their traditions? Having A&M as a rival will inadvertently hurt our program. That’s how creepy and strange they are. They bring nothing of any real value in terms of what you expect for a “rivalry” game. Ask Texas.

How many times this needs to be addressed? LSU doesn't have a TRUE rival. Toolame would have been the true rival, but they got out of the sec and didn't care about athletics for a while and never regained any importance.

if aTm finally beats us while being a member of the sec, trust me...........they will immediately be our rival. those fans can talk more shite than any other fan base in the conference. it will get under your skin so much that it will be torture for the entire year.

Personally for me it is Auburn.... I've been to most of the biggest games and it really developed after Tommy Tuberville and the cigar

Ole Miss
That's exactly who it is. These guys are too young to remember when Ole Miss used to beat us on a regular basis. Check out the series record between '52-'69. Hell, they beat us 21 to nothing in the Sugar Bowl the year of Cannon's punt return.

It's Ole Miss. All it takes is a couple of competitive Rebel teams and everyone at LSU will know what it means to hate all things Ole Miss.
Their fan base is insufferable.

The Arkansas game was made into a rivalry and that’s great, but to me we need to move back the Ol Miss game to the end of our schedule. And still have the old trophy. But in order as rivalries Ol Miss, Tulane, and then aTm. My opinion
