If Pocic declares early or is moved to OT, we will be breaking in a new center, first game of the year, on the road, against a quality opponent. The bowl game & practice leading up to it, need to be focused on next year to some extent. I'm not talking majority of snaps, but he should get a few series. What y'all think?

I agree, if you declare for early entry into draft you shouldn't be allowed to play in bowl game....good riddance

No, for several reasons.

If its his last game, you gonna deny him the right to play?

So Pocic starts all year and sits in the post season?

No he doesn't sit! But another guy can come in for few snaps. Who said anything about sitting him? Inexperience at center is a concern. It's just a football question guys, relax

Yes, because the new center won't have a single opportunity to take a snap this spring and summer.

Dude gonna fumble every snap against wisky!

In a game with all those bright lights & everybody watching? We talking bout practice!! Live action bro, turtle man style. Bowl game doesn't mean much, as long as they aren't getting embarrassed, someone should get some snaps.

Play pocic at tackle for these reasons.

Any ng under 6-3 can destroy him.

He will get another month of practice at LT before spring if he comes back.

If he doesn't come back, clap will already be center anyway.

Pocic is not going pro. He plays LT for us next year and has a chance to go in the top 3 rounds. He would be a third day pick this year

I think it's a good idea to give a potential new starter a few snaps. I wish we had done that with a qb in the past. imo, i'd start a new center and put pocic at LT (for a few series anywat).

however, I can never recall this staff ever doing that.
