Hey SouGent was that a real BillBoard somewhere

I never saw it in person, but I was told it was an actual billboard, that was put up in the Monroe area. In any case, it's the thought that counts.

Alabama, because they have such a strong LSU connection.

Boise, Fresno, Kansas, Mizzou, Northwestern, Stanford, and Virginia Tech would make great stories as well. Out of all teams, I would prefer Virginia Tech.

The only SEC teams I could be happy for would be Mississippi State, Vandy, Kentucky, and South Carolina (if the NC is not under the current head coach). Of all the SEC teams, Mississippi State would be my top choice.

Realistically, In the SEC I would like to see Tennessee maybee or Auburn.

Outside of the SEC, Nebraska or Illinois(never happen), or VT

Ohio State.

But, assuming you're meaning who would you like to see in the NC that isn't your team...

I'd love to see JoePa get another one before he finally retires. Though, I don't care to hear their fans talk about it.
Also wouldn't mind seeing Michigan State, Northwestern or Indiana take one home.

West Virginia/Michigan would be an awesome matchup. Not sure who I'd root for. I'd probably root for Michigan and at the same time against RR for doing what he did to West Virginia. I'd want to see WV get some revenge on him, but in the end would probably pull for the Big10.

That was definitely a real billboard. It was right on I-20 in Monroe. My family and I went to Tupelo, Miss. at Christmas to spend time with family. On our way to minden from there, we had a great experience. It was the day before the annual Independence/Alabama Bowl in Shreveport. When we got on I-20 in Jackson, we joined a river of Bama vehicles headed west. When we got to Monroe, traffic stalled to a crawl. I figured it was a wreck, but it was all the Bama folks looking at this billboard. We stopped at the new Academy Sports - it had been open less than a week - and there were signs on every door proclaiming that LSU National Championship merchandise would go on sale 1 minute after the NT game was completed. I ran into some Bama people in the store who were fuming mad at both the billboard and the assumption by Academy that LSU would beat the Buckeyes. Of course, I was wearing some LSU stuff, and one of the Bama fans came up to me and said that we had no class and that Bama would never do anything like that had the tables been turned. I told him he had to be kidding. He said "wait till we come to that stinkhole of a stadium in Baton Rouge next year".

You know there's that thing in politics that says that if your opponent is destroying himself, you should just stand back and watch? That's just what I did in that store. And as this guy kept ranting (I swear I thought he was going to burst a blood vessel) some more Tiger fans came over and began to give him the Tiger Bait. Now I know not all Bama fans are jerks like this guy, but that's the most fun I had the whole Christmas holiday!

I'd root for Tennessee to win one, even though I would have to hear my dad's shite over it. They are the only Power in the SEC, other then us, that I like.

Seriously? If those two teams NEVER won another game, I would be very entertained by that fact.

With all the compliments I get over here when I wear my LSU shirts, I'm saying Auburn. I've never heard a bad comment about LSU from any AU fan that I encounter. They also really admire Miles and how he handled the going to Michigan crap and the RP crap. The AU fans hate Saban and say that he can't be trusted. I would never pull for Bama. They all talk that shite about how they're going to whip our arse and how Les is winning with Saban's players. When Bama fans open their mouths, it gets old pretty fast. I feel for AU fans. It's bad enough they have to live with Bama fans but working with them too has got to be a bitch.

joe pa deserves it. Nebraska would be nice too, because im tired of OU and Texas dominating the big 12 every year.

The Buffalo Bulls. Ranked #119 by ESPN last year as the worst program in the last decade.

quote:

You want the definition of the ultimate underdog program? How's this: The Bulls have been favored once against a fellow Division I-A opponent in eight years of I-A football. At least they came through, beating No. 118 Temple 9-3 last season in the opener.

Now THAT would be a Cinderella story.
