Won't happen. A&M wants no part of Texas.

Still play Aggies because it’s a better TV match up.

Tulane.
It's a win & the CFP will give us more credit for playing an old rival like the winnies than USL or SLC. Besides, it fun listening to them cry.
Finally, agree to the shift only if the Aggies play us the week before......the next week, we play the Greenies & they have a short week & play Texas on Thursday. That is a L for the Aggies & helps us in recruiting.

ESPN has an article saying both presidents want to renew it.

Why does it have to be the last game of the season?

Arkansas.

Good bye little brother Aggies. Can’t run away from big brother Texas forever.

I think we should go back to playing A&M in September like we did in the 80s and 90s. Then we can play Tulane or whoever the last week. Or we can just play one of our cupcake rent-a-wins that weekend, because that rivalry weekend has never been important to us. All those years of playing Arkansas didn't really inspire that "rival" spirit in me.

Isn’t going to happen. A&M thinks playing BIG TIME home & homes Arizona State, Miami and Notre Dame is more important than renewing a classic rivalry.

BUT, if hell froze over, I’d say LSU either gets a bye that week or gets One of their annual cupcake games that week.

Tulane won’t do it without LSU giving a return game at some point.

Arkansas would rather play us. They would change if given the option.

Yeah they fricking hate LSU. The Golden boot game is their iron bowl. You’re correct.

Does LSU give a shite? Not really. Personally, I’d rather have A&M that week now that they have Jimbo & the whole 74-72 fiasco.

if Texas and A&M ever meet again in the regular season it will just be a home and home early in the season or a one time neutral site game

Neutral site at NRG or AT&T. Maybe something crazy like the Alamodome or shift minutemaid into a FB field.
