I think it will be someone on defense. Someone will need to step up and make that huge defensive play (pick 6 maybe).

Thad Moss. We've never used a tight end so hopefully he'll be heavily involved with the offense

I think it'll need to be someone from the LB position. Chaisson, Philips, Divinity, Queen, whoever.. Someone there is going to need to have a better than normal game to generate some pressure, contain Tua, and/or stop those Bama slants.

Kary Vincent.
He has to cover the slot reciever.

The X-Factor will be the chance of rain...
If we have a dry field we are unstoppable. Burrow can make the quick pass against the blitz when the WRs can get open on their first move. Wet field changes everything.
Special teams need to play big.

Trey Palmer (Punt return). He makes it look easy!

Stevens
I wonder if Aranda has something up his sleeve for Stevens or someone else, similar to Dwayne Thomas a couple years ago

The X factor will be preparation by the teams.....The LSU secondary will determine this game as the Bama Front will slow down any rush by the Tigers. We have to stop the short passing game and apply pressure to make Tua move at least. This will be a classis as the Tigers offense will create some problems for the Bama defense....without question. Tigers win in a close one 38-35!!!

Everyone being mentally focused with no bad penalties.
The occasional holding, PI will happen.
I'm talking about the dumb 15 yard personal fouls and such that either kill our drives or extend theirs. Can't happen.

Eliminating dumb penalties
Moss- both blocking and catching. He can take advantage of those LBers

Stevens and Vincent will need to play lights out.
Yeah, honestly the game will come down to their ability to cover the Bama WR's. I trust Fulton and Stingley, these two guys are going to have their hands full with the slants.

Also, if you look at most of Bama's losses, their opponent won the field position and special teams battles.
That is how we last did it in 2011. Different teams, but that shite still matters. They have a weak punter and kicker, we need ours to play at their best.
We also need to keep it away from Waddle and pin them deep to not give Tua and those WRs any short fields.

X factor will be K. Vincent.
I think Fulton and Stingley will hold their own (May get beat here and there) vs Bamas 1 and 2.
If Vincent can cover and more importantly tackle the slot guy, I think our chances improve dramatically.
If he gets abused we will lose.

Hopefully getting pressure on Tua and we are going to have to TACKLE.
This! If they get their hands on him they are going to have to bring him down. We can't afford missed tackles on Tua! The same can be said for their WR's, can't afford missed tackles.

Agreed we need to be in the face of their receivers all night. Hands on man no free releases can’t let tua play easy pitch and catch

Chaisson. We have to get some kind of pressure on Tua.
Unless they run stunts with Chaisson, He will not get much or any pressure!
