I’m not even trying to get involved with this. It’s gone however many pages and I haven’t made a post. There’s just no need to try to justify finishing third. Ed O will prove he can take the team to the next step or he won’t. It starts this season and if he does it won’t matter that he started with 2 third place finishes.

2014, 2015, 2016 until he was fired, Les was 19-10
2016, 2017, 2018 Orgeron is 25-9.

Looks like we are doing better to me.

Facts are great. But when I post that we were 9-4 in 2017 with a bad loss to Troy and a bad loss to Miss. State. Aren't those facts?

When I post that the 2018 offense was ranked worse than the 2017 offense in total offense, isn't that a fact?

How about when I post that the 2017 LSU offense finished higher ranked than the 2018 offense did in conference play, and that Vanderbilt was ranked higher than LSU this past season (conference stats), isn't that a fact?

Because those are the things that I've been posting and those are the things that have you so upset at me.

I'm more a Les fan than an o fan. But I've been an LSU fan since the mid-sixties miss cleo.

One loss better than the worst version of the guy that got fired, yes.

You're getting your rocks off worrying about scoring points against Bama???

Hollow victories much? We need to worry about scoring MORE than Bama and winning....not just taking comfort in scoring a few measly points just to say we scored.

So we’re counting Orgeron’s interim season again.

I believe that’s called third.

I'd call that third as well. But there's a group of posters on here whose heads implode if you don't say "tied"

With 6 more games played. This might be the most intellectually dishonest argument I’ve ever seen.

ETA: An honest argument would be Orgeron’s 1st 34 games vs. Miles’ last 34, if you want to keep using his interim stint.

We all know why you aren’t going to do that though.

Sure.

If you want to drop it be my guest, the winning pctg is still much better than Miles over that span

But. Who was the HC when Miles was fired again?

Nah. Just keep including 33% of a season for Miles and 66% of a season for a Orgeron.

That’s not skewing numbers in any way.

Exactly. Roger seems to think he's the rant police. And he's way to serious about this crap.

Well fuq it.....lets just bring back your hero so we can watch that awesome offense jet up and down the fking field scoring points at will, zinging accurate passes everywhere, and leaping tall buildings in a single bound.

Oh, and my personal favorite....blowing late 4th quarter leads to Bama because you coach like a fking knucklehead.....yea good times!!!!!

Les regressed as a head coach and the direction he had his team going was not good. We needed a change and O has this football team looking better and better...good hires, change offensive scheme, willing to adapt with play calling, more juniors staying, elite recruiting, etc. Things are looking up more now than the past 6 seasons!

Very good post.

And I loved Les.

Isn't that precisely how 2016 was split.?

Go back and give Les games in 2013, his winning pctg is still worse than Orgerons
