Aranda was awesome but the 2011 defense was maybe the greatest defense LSU has ever had. Chavis was the mastermind behind it. He deserves credit for that

Chief will get a lot of heat… if he had some offenses to go with the early defenses, it probably wouldn’t be a conversation.

He'll always get a lot of hate because of the terms in which he departed, but he is definitely the most underrated DC we've had since I've been alive. His defenses at LSU were stellar.
