Not saying I can't see it happening. I've just been hearing 9-3 a lot. It sounds like people are just throwing out a number.

I just want someone to explain WHO exactly will we lose to and WHY exactly we will lose if we end up going 9-3.

I personally think 10-2 or 11-1 is honestly a realistic number.

I could see it happening. But I also could see this team having the potential to win them all.

I could see 3 losses pretty easily.

It all just depends on how the QB situation turns out and how much the defense improves from last year

its not an absurd notion with the West being as strong as it is

I don't think we will but I could see it happening.. The offense is young. We'll be very competitive

At least 3 losses this season, I think. Too many new guys on both sides of the ball. More than anything, teams with remedial QB play don't win big in this conference very often. Add in the new faces at WR and 8-4 looks likely. I won't be disappointed, though, considering how young this team is. Next year should be much better. We'll see...

9-3 would be my bet if had to make one. At Auburn, at FL, Bama, Ole Miss, and even at AR the week after Bama could be the classic trap game. 3 losses out of that wouldn't be crazy.

It's all on the QB IMO.

I feel comfortable everywhere else. Even DL.

If one of the two steps and and plays the game manager role at a minimum.. we win the west.

You guys talking about QB play, yall aren't just a little bit more comfortable considering the fact that we have Cam and that we've had success with average-below average QB play before?

Florida or Auburn, Alabama, and our bowl game. That's my 3.

And honestly I think it would be foolish to be concerned about any position on defense other than DT. Maybe Welter, but he couldn't(knock on wood) have gotten any worse and we know Beckwith will begin to be rotated in frequently.

Still 2 very young QBs. I trust Cam, but he can only do so much from the sidelines.

and DE

We had no pass rush last year. Hunter looks the part, but we shall see if he can be truly dominate this year.

Ok, so most of yall are saying these 3. I agree that these are very much so POTENTIAL losses. But WHY exactly will we lose to these teams?

And questions at QB and DL is not the answer I'm looking for.

9-3 is a reasonable expectation this year. I think we'll be competitive in every game, however. Anything's possible.

ok

I'll preface this by saying I'm not predicting these losses, but I could see losses to these teams

Florida: Can we score enough on them? Can they score enough on us? It's @ Florida so give them the nod.

Auburn: Can we keep up with them offensively?

Alabama: It's Bama. They will have a solid team. No real explanation needed IMO.

10-2 at best... Too many unknowns for the team to run the table...between raw receivers, new QBs (all talented) the lack of experience will mean at least a couple of losses imo...

I agree there are too many unknowns, but that is why saying 10-2 at best is kinda a silly statement

with so many unknowns, I could see anything really, from undefeated to 6 losses

I think that is why everyone is really excited about this season
