Moron.

I guess Saban should make less than his coordinators as well?

What a stupid thread.

If Chavis was HC he would hire a great OC and our team would be unstoppable.

The common denomimator to our lack of offensive ability has been Les Miles. He's a good recruiter in chief and motivator for the players but brings virtually nothing to the game when it comes to play on the field.

While our defense has been in overdrive, our offense has been in neutral or reverse during his tenure. If one believes in pay for performance, Miles should be making less than Chavis.

Refresh my memory, what was our offense's SEC rank last year in the only category that matters, points scored?

I guess you figured it out and Chavis hasn't. You should send him an e-mail.

I believe he is the highest paid assistant now that Kirby Smart is a head coach.

Well since we are now allowed to trade college football stock, where do I buy 1000 shares of LSU defense?

Chavis has fielded a championship level defense 3 of his 4 seasons here. Even his first defense was pretty solid.

It's really ashame our offense has been on a high school level during his time here.

Miles is a producer. He shines in recruiting. He also likes to play behind a lead. He threw a lot of deep balls when LSU was behind yesterday.

That mentality won't work as well against Bama.
We will see what Miles has learned in two weeks.

My biggest complaint is that Mett does not sell play action at all. He doesn't even stick the ball out and is 3 yds from the back on some play action.

Chavis has been in coaching for 30 years. If he had the ability to be a head coach, he would've been one. Some people just don't have it in their blood to be head coaches, nor do they want to be. That's ok.

Chavis wouldn't be doing what he's doing with this defense without Les Miles' bringing him all of this amazing talent, neither side of the debate can dispute that.
