Your question was ambiguous and I answered Villanova without cheating. They actually did play the first game at the New Box.

The old Alex Box was built to look like the stadium at the Polo Grounds ... the home park of the New York Giants. Some of Giants' players were pool hustlers. Notably Carl Hubbell, the great pitcher for the New York Giants. The Yankees trained in New Orleans. And the St. Louis Browns trained in Bogalusa.
