Which is exactly what Stanky and the SEC gestapo in Birmingham want. They want to ram this thing through before we have a chance to stop it.
If Kiffin etc. wanted to respond it could have been filed. There is a reason no one has enrolled and nothing has been filed. Not saying they won’t respond but this is by choice.

Service is required
What does that mean?

You can't name someone in a lawsuit without serving them, and then go to court. Court would be delayed until all parties were served.
Nobody in this case is diificult to find, so my assumption is service was provided. It isn't difficult in this case for service to be made.

The hearing is Thursday I thought on the federal side?

Hearing is tomorrow (Wednesday) in federal court in Alabama. SEC meeting to supposedly expel LSU is Thursday.

James Williams is on the summons, but that’s most likely because he is on the BoS. He’s be a good choice to represent the school though.
Yea he’s on the board. Half the BOS are lawyers- Williams, carmouche, rico, and others

This hearing is for a TRO to prevent LSU from “interfering” with the Thursday SEC meeting to supposedly expel us. Interfering here presumably means LSU seeking an injunction in state court.
The SEC will have to show that LSU is actually going to (or is likely to) do something that it doesn’t have the right to do. The SEC carries the burden to prove that it’s entitled to an injunction. Saying that there’s a conceptual possibility isn’t enough. What do they plan to show the court on this?

No idea. They probably have nothing. Murrill said in her interview with Moscona that LSU wasn’t trying to stop the Thursday SEC meeting which means the SEC’s amended filing is just bluster.

Damn, the Attys for the SEC are so bright that they have Stankey Sankey admitting to collusion in his sworn affidavit.

It’s in federal court. Does a lawyer need to be licensed in Alabama to practice in federal court?

Gordon, Morris Bart, Callahan, and the other Billboard shysters couldn’t find the courthouse with a GPS and written directions. They all finished at the bottom of their law school classes and minored in marketing.
