Hell, why not Skip Holtz at LaTech? His offense puts up more points and yardage on SEC defenses then ours does with 2 star talent! Lol Not serious about Holtz, but that just goes to show how horrible our offense has been.

I know you're joking abou Holtz, but LSU - in its current state - will never hire a FB coach that has been previously fired by another college program. It will not happen, period.
We balked at firing Miles when we had a national-title winning coach in the bag... There is 0% chance that we fire Miles and hire a coach that has been fired before in college.
I'm not saying a previously-fired coach couldn't reinvent his career and have success somewhere... It's possible (extremely rare, but possible)... But it will not happen at LSU.
So Kiffin, Holtz, Briles, Tuberville are out. In Kiffin and Briles' case, it makes matters worse when they also bring baggage (real and PR)

I wouldn't be surprised if Aranda is promoted and we never make a serious play for Herman, Fisher, or anyone else of note. It will likely all depend on how much F. King has his hands in the process.
