I really do. The defense will have plenty of time to come together with the early season schedule being light, and then will be in almost as good of form as 2011 for the SEC schedule and the bigger games.

I would exchange defense with Mett. Defense will be legit from day 1.

I was confident, but with some doubts, about this year's team. NEXT year, little doubt.

We have a very good shot as long as Mett has matured. Hopefully, he isn't an arrogant arse man.

I hope so, but don't think so.
Jan. 9 will take a toll. Back to normal.

So the third trip to the BCS NG in the last nine years, all that was a fluke, is that what you're saying?

Or are you going to keep your black arm band on for the next year?

Mo, BT and a few LB's like RB will not be instantly replaced, neither will be our best Dlineman Mr Brockers. I think it will take a little while to get to the top level and that the top level will be a tad below, but damn close to, the 2011 defense, which was stellar.

Regardless of the schedule being favorable, I believe we will see a 2012 LSU team ready to take on the world. It's on.

As I posted once before; this team is on a mission and I'd hate to face them. Bama is going to be thrashing on a personal level.
I am sure there some teams that will play us well, but thats football. In the end we are going to play beach ball in Florida and bring the crystal back to red stick.

I am saving money as I type this. Already have a few hundred set back for such a game. I won't be able to make most games next year in hopes of going to the big one again. Despite the loss, the NC game in NOLA was an awesome experience and I look forward to next year.

How do you get a team that went 13-0 in the regular season, smashing most of the opposition to stay hungry and get after it the following year? Have their rival smash them in the NCG. The chip is on the shoulder, the talent is there on all three sides of the ball for this team to be more dominant than they were this year. If the hunger stays with them, I say yes.....they go to Miami and this time the crystal comes back to BR.

Odds are high, if LSU sees no improvement in defense and maintains, there no way we cannot see improved QB play over the past 4 years even is Mett is only 1/2 as good as people think. Really, the QB position has been holding the LSU team back for three years. If you make teams defend our pass game as much as they defend our running game, watch out. I think the level of QB play is going up now...

As I see it, the only team on next years schedule that should give LSU trouble is Bama. And I would be SHOCKED, if they come into TS and beat LSU after Jan 9. I really think there will be some head hunting Nov 3 in Death Valley, Tigers are going to make a statement with that game and every game they play next year.

Well they do lose ALL of their WR core. Just saying. They'll have that guy Norwood at WR and the TE Smelley.

Name 2?

I'll name one.... LSU.

I believe LSU runs the table, Bama should be their only close game, much like this year, Bama returns 7 starters on offense, and 6 on defense.

Hands down, LSU is not only in Miami but wins 2012.

To me, it's quite simple. There was a liability at the QB position - the one real weakness on this team - ironically, the most important position. And it finally caught up to the team.

Next year, LSU might have the best QB in several years. Which means, no tangible weaknesses, nothing to expose...2012 we roll...
