Jefferson was not the problem last night.

This is a fact.....but based on what I saw last night he might not be the solution either...remains to be seen

Comparing him to Locker would be unfair to Jefferson.

I thought Jefferson looked pretty good,

he made some good decisions,

Crowton limited his downfield passes, that's not his fault,

i'll repeat that he needs to learn to slide...
Jefferson in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th is the QB we need. i think he needed to get into the flow of the game, but once he did he was pretty damn good. no picks, 3 tds, and great option decisions. the td passes were on target and the last one to BL was almost perfect. he made good decisions either taking sacks or throwing the ball away instead of forcing passes.

i give jefferson a B+ just because of his shakey start.

this is the QB LSU needs....a game manager. someone to protect the ball and not lose it for us.

The grass is never green in TS but that is another thread for later in the week. hahaha

I do believe the playbook will be opened up more as Jefferson proves he can take care of the ball.

I think he did well with the plays that were called.

I hate when the qb throws 3 tds and no ints.

Unfortunately, this team will need a playmaker at QB and not just a game manager. This offense is going to need to average 30 points a game to win games. Our defensive line will give up some 300 yard rushing games this year.

By not drooling all over JJ's performance yesterday like you it is obvious I know a little more than you.

Jefferson will learn to slide as he continues his career. The kid is just excited and wants to do everything to help then get a win. This being said he will soon realize that him taking those hits may hinder the team rather than help.

I am much happier that we have Jefferson rather than Pryor

And Pryor still probably has the "measurables" to be great. However, to have a Louisiana kid, with Jefferson's obvious talent, and he does appear to be the answer at QB. He does need more time, and fortunately we have a couple of games for him to settle in as full time starter. There should be no rush to judge him after three starts, but (do we need another reminder after the game's coverage that the kid just turned 19) the kid is young, talented, and effective. He wins football games. I don't care if it's "pretty" or not.

i agree he needs to avoid contact - but on the play where he got popped - it was 3rd down and really needed to keep the defense off the field and score.

he did what I would hope a QB would do.

to date i have little to judge him off of but Im pleased with what ive seen

Motherfrickers should be happy that Jefferson is our guy!!! You can say what you want about his performance but he made some good desisions;he eluded the rush, did a good running, and that TD to BL was nice. I can bet you UW would have sacked a non mobile QB at least 4 times. JJ will be a LSU great so appriciate him while he is playing
