Make sure you post his comments after the game. Might be fun.

You better watch out, man. If Oregon wins this game, it will be a shite storm on here with comments like that. I am saying we lose. So, I won't be eating crow. Conversely, if Oregon wins, I will be humble. However, I can't say the same for flynpac.

Guys Cliff is talented at returns. You can watch the youtube clips of him and tell "no matter who the team was"! Now I'm not saying his media hype is legit and that he will be effective against us, but to say he isn't talented is nonsense. Not trying to pick a fight 7thWard. You make a very good argument and I feel he won't be a problem for our special teams because he better fair catch it or get laid out! We are to fast with that much air time. Now we all know that Chip runs the score up and he better if he wants his team to get national credit to get a chance at the national championship. We do not have to do that in the SEC. The Tenn. game I understand because they got man handled in the first half and it would look better to dominate an SEC team. Im not talking smack either. All this being said I believe T-Rex will make the bigger impact by far.

I think it will be a shite storm if UO wins.... no matter what I say.

I'm preparing myself already.

As for flynpac, I can handle that dipshit. And for the record I have already stated in at least 2 threads that I think there is a very good chance UO will win. So either way, I don't think I'll have to eat any crow.

i love how he catches the ball with only two fingers in one hand. Hes too good to use his other 3 on that hand. CF would have to use all 5.

However, average SEC dbs shut down your passing attack. So, it will suffice.

JJ does just fine in his first and last games...it's the games in between with less time to prepare that have us concerned. Hopefully new OC Krags will improve this tendency.

Until LSU actually loses an opening game under Miles, I'll go on thinking we won't lose.

I like you buddy. You seem to use logic and will not spout the kool-aid. However, you are completely off about Chip running up the score against Tenn. Do you wanna actually watch that game over again?

We had our 3rd and 4th stringers in in the end(mostly)and our TD's near the end came from a punt return TD, and ground pounding RB run for TD. We just ran the ball at the end.

What do you expect? On punt return we just walk down the field and take a knee? And should we of taken a knee for the whole 4th quarter? Come on man, give me a break.

I find it funny all the excuses for us kicking the shite out of Tenn. And then people assuming we must be intentionally running up the score. Why don't you either provide actual proof of such claims or quit the spin. I can prove you wrong every day of the week and twice on Sunday. But don't take my word for it, watch the film.

UO vs Tenn

Anybody elts with some spin or myths?

After watching your video and remembering the game Barner should have taken a knee or fair caught it. Kelly knew he would return it! Lol you are right on putting second string in. 4th quarter was ground and pound. Tenn was slap wore out. That is why I'm glad we aren't playing y'all mid season. We have time to condition.

This was a thread about cornerbacks right? Let's agree we both have good, no, great cornerbacks. Look who is number one in a lot of polls, Oklahomo. Yea, and they pass, a lot. Oh my. Have you ever seen a team you want to play in the NC? Oklahomo will be playing into our defensive strength. Why, we might only have 4 or 5 interceptions. How wonderful. I look forward to that game. If you by chance get there instead, I'll look forward to that game also. Landry may be a good passer, but if his receivers are covered, he can't run, oh... he's toast. Now that is something to look forward to.

did Cliff Harris make all-american team last year? I am sure he is preseason All-american for next year.

Yeah, as a return specialist though. Not at corner.

He was named as a corner as well by a couple of the publications, I believe.

since when did you say that oregon was going to lose? just now? that is a 180 degree turn-when did it happen. what crucial point of the game had you previously overlooked? OL, DEs, all the crap we were telling you before this thread was even started.

Hired gun, I have always predicted 17-14. Although, I watched the WVU game on an espn replay last night and now I am a little apprehensive about predicting anything. LSU is a little but schizo.

Against TAMU it didn't seem as though so many guys were blitzing as in the WVU game. If Chavis wants to attack us the same way as he attacked WVU, I think Oregon can exploit it much better.

It may look like that from a distance, but I can assure you if your Offense starts clicking, he will start playing soft zone and we will be pulling our hair out. We have typically had more success when being more aggressive IMO

how could you have predicted your team to lose even though it has equal or superior athletes to us at every position according to you? that is impossible.

i was at the game and it was garbage time. it was quite obvious as soon as they lined up head to head that wvu could only win with lsu mistakes or their so-called speed advantage with noel divine. as soon as devine was collared before he could get around the corners by pp, monty, tyran, mo, game, set, match. we scored a few times and the team OBVIOUSLY played garbage time ball starting before the end of the first half. All that blitzing is what happens to any lsu opponent that allows them to get up by say 10 or more points. at that point it's call out the dogs on the qb and its all downhill baby. i hope to see it against oregon because i think we can hurry dt into some pick 6's.

Hired gun, you are twisting my words. I have never said the athletes were better. The only thing I've said is that Oregon has great athletes but not at the expense of LSU.

I watched LSU blowup WVU's offense last night. I know what to expect. However, LSU fans will be in a tight one and many of the posters here believe it will be a 17 point game in favor of LSU.

I hear a lot of overrated talk re: Oregon. I personally expect a very competitive match. I give LSU the edge. If we were playing at Autzen, I'd give Oregon the edge.
