CEH was kryptonite va bama. LF7 vs D with no pass threat Like lsu 2019 was easy for bama.

You can’t go just by physical ability. You have to go by desire and heart as well. LF is a tremendously gifted athlete, but I’ll take CEH any day of the week.

LF7 was a locomotive
CEH was the little engine that could
Which performance was better...... both amazing and don't really feel the need to chose

It’s LF7 at Auburn. CEH was outstanding and I don’t mean to detract at all from how great he was in that Bama game, but LF7’s embarrassment of Auburn was just domination.
By the end of the game they were afraid of him.

Leonard Fournette v Auburn in 2015 or Clyde vs Alabama in 2019.
2 totally different offenses
It would be interesting to see LF7 in the 2019 offense. Guice would for sure looked good on last years team.

It’s close, but that 3rd and 10 finger tip catch and run with the game on the line at BAMA puts CEH ahead for me.

I think you nailed it. It’s really impossible to compare their performance because the offense was so different in 2019. It’s really anyone’s guess how Fournette or Guise would have done with Joe at QB running the video game offense.
For that matter what would Kevin Faulk look like in this offense back in the day.

Thank you for posting in here and letting us know you don't want to choose.

Both were awesome to watch.
That run to ice the game with 1:13 left against Bama by CEH was his season in a nutshell. Goddamn clutch.

Hard to say U might want to add Guice to that list!

It’s CEH all day long. AU sucked that year. Bama was still contending for a NC.

CEH is the better all around back!! LF7 was

Dude literally shortened his career by suiting up for the Florida game with a bad ankle sprain.
His best highlights are mowing people over.
Show me an example of Fournette being soft.

CEH >>>> LF7n all day... Leonard's teams didn't do shite at LSU

I don't understand how some of y'all are missing the question of this thread. Who had the better, singular performance between those two in two specific games. This is not who had the better team or better career.

CEH against Bama 2019. He literally got us 3 or 4 third downs that Fournette would not have. The jukes and those catches he makes to get the third down conversions let alone the second effort and the will to make it was amazing. LF was great but he doesn't make those plays CEH made in that game. PERIOD

Clyde every damn time. He proved out last season, just needed a chance.
Done.
This right here is why Clyde has become my favorite LSU player of all time. Maybe someday someone else will supplant him, but what he showed this year was amazing, and his whole story is why he tops the list. Undersized, underestimated kid born and raised in BR, keeps his head down and works his arse off, got his chance and showed the world what he himself knew all along.
