re: Who else hates being associated with this program now? (because of the fans)

Cheer for the players, no matter what...and STFU about the coaching staff. You'd think something so easy would be adopted by the fans, but it appears impossible. It's like since they've bought so much LSU gear they deserve an opinion on every aspect of the program.
I always ask when they were at LSU, to try and get a gauge if the staff when they attended, and I always get 'I've been a fan my whole life.'
Yea right, just please support the players...

No one cares about how LSU wasn't a good team when you were a kid. Times have changed. All most of us want is for Les to either open his eyes, or leave. But remember, all of this comes down to all of us caring about LSU winning. We all want the same thing.
But don't give me the "I remember the old days" shite. This isn't the fricking old days, grandpa. LSU shouldn't get dominated by Arkansas. LSU is a tier 1 program.

Yeah I'm sure that's exactly what you said the day after the national championship.

Here's my take on Les Miles:
I've given him many benefits of doubt. I want him to succeed.
However, let's take a look at his best years (subjective): 2005, 2006, 2007 (NC), 2011 (NC appearance). When he came to LSU, LSU was LOADED with talent from the other guy that was here, and Miles did pretty well. So, he did inherit some talent, and did well for the most part (except the horrible play calling). 2007 was a 2-loss NC. Pretty lucky if you ask me, but hey, it's a NC, and he got the job done.
2011 was a very talented team, but we all know what happened in the NC game. Does anyone remember who the LSU OC was? Studrawa. Remember him?
The QB problems over the years? Well, Mett was good. Russell was good at LSU. Flynn was very good. All of them were developed under different coaching staffs prior to playing for Miles.
Fast forward to today. LSU looked good early this year, right? Except for the one-dimensional offense. And the defensive mistakes, blown coverages. And of course special teams. And delay of game penalties. And no sense of urgency on the sidelines. And getting blown out again by Arkansas.
It's getting old, man.
I wish success for him. He's been here 10 years+, and you know, sometimes the old saying goes, "familiarity breeds contempt". God, do we want to see a well-disciplined, dynamic team that adjusts.
I wish him well, and no hard feelings at all.

I lived in South Bend during the Bob Davie years. ND was much, much worse.

Auburn fired a NC winning coach one year and hired a new one that brought them to another NC appearance the next year with a fricking DB converted to a QB. Miles can't even recruit a real QB, much less convert one. Your argument will be they suck this year, but that won't last long

First of all, Chizik got fired because he went 3-9 and 0-8 in the SEC. How is that comparable to Les?
Secondly, your precious Gus went 8-5 the year after that NC appearance and is struggling to get bowl eligible this year, but you use him as an example to fire Les?
C'mon man, if you want Les gone, fine. But pick a better example than Auburn.
