With the way that their players were showing up the ump, including the one who was ejected it makes you think it's a reflection of the head coach.

I agree with all of this, but as the game went on and they kept showing our coach who looked like he was about to have a nervous breakdown it got me thinking about how that reflects on our players. To see your coach frustrated , red faced, and talking to himself doesn't seem like the posture you would expect from your coach. Calm and level headed would seem to be better

Something tells me Houston will throw everything they have to. Their coach seems like a POS.

School hasn't advanced to a Super in 11 years. This is Whitting's first regional. None of their players have ever played in a regional. Hell yes they are throwing everything they have and will likely piece it together 1-2 innings at a time.

How does that make the guy a POS?

He won't throw Longville or Garza but everyone else is good to go. Because they've used so many guys they haven't overworked many.

Regional play over 3-4 days requires guys to get worked. 11.7 and 36+ innings in a weekend isn't conducive to protecting everyone.

I think we score 12 or more runs tonight. Just to remind everyone of the thunder we bring and that our head coach can be a moron at times.

Outward demeanor has nothing to do with coaching effectiveness. Crazy insane coaches have been winners and calm stoic coaches have been successful. Y'all are digging too deep.

Houston has a damn good pitching staff as a whole

Those are sick numbers, but they play in a pretty weak conference, outside of Louisville. And L'ville swept them in conference play, until losing with their #4 starter in the conference CG.

I'll be happy with 6, but I am hoping for a UC-Irvine Game 3 showing.

Maybe you are right and maybe you are wrong, but seeing your coach red faced and panicked for the last 4 innings should not be the message that you would want to convey to your team

He looked passionate and intense to me. See how you can read into a situation anything you want when it's from a distance?

I will agree that people will see whatever they want to see in any situation no matter how obvious it may be

I hope you're right because I think they score 7 to 9 on LSU. Paul knew he needed to win last night because of his lack of depth at pitching. I'm just preparing myself for the fact they they have the definitive pitching edge on us and in my book, I'll take great pitching over average hitting any day of the week. Houston is the favorite in this game from my perspective and the only edge LSU has is it's at the Box. They scouted LSU well and know our hitters tendencies.
