Floyd has been pretty solid the last few times he has pitched and I think he is a future weekend guy so I could see that as well.

Floyd has serious control issues.

Judging from Paul's decision making (and it has worked), it won't be Hellmers. It's too predictable to start Hellmers so it will be somebody unexpected.

Paul will honor his season long tradition of not using Hellmers and saving him to next week. A la “Free Crab Tomorrow”.

I actually have visions of Hilliard, Fowler, or Hasty for some reason. A real curveball would be Theo, but I can't see that happening.

LSU is remarkably stacked today

You can use any of these guys for an inning. Use a couple for 2 innings and that’s your 9.

Hellmers
Viet
Floyd
Edwards
Hilliard
Marceaux
Fontenot

I heard we're saving Hellmers for the first inning of the midweek again

Or someone can throw their nuts on the table and give us 5 innings

It would obviously be one of those “we’ll see how the inning goes” kind of games. Point is LSU has a lot of arms so there’s no need to stick with a guy who gets in a tight spot.

We need a quiet first half of the 1st inning. Oregon's lineup was L, R, L, L so Hasty may be an option as an opener for 1-2 innings and hope we get a lead to play with.
