What is the rationale for this?

Ideal but unlikely (impossible) scenario for me is LSU and Ole Miss win out with LSU beating Ole Miss in the SEC Championship Game for Revenge. Ole Miss probably hangs another Banner with an asterisk tied to LSU.

I have seen a lot of people think we lose to A&M. I know it will be a battle for sure and we have to play well to win but the schedule works in our favor given the fact that we would be the 5th straight SEC game for them. also they play on the road the week before. Traditionally SEC teams do not do well in the 2nd game of back to back conference road games. Add in 5 straight conference games and they will most likely be banged up when they come to town.

Nah, UF winning helps our resume. They can't get in over us with the same record, so I'd rather they keep winning. Also, the longer Napier is kept around, the better.

Tenn over Bama

I think I'd rather Bama win and kick Tenn down. You want as little competition at the top of the conference as possible. 10-2 LSU gets in over 10-2 Alabama if we win in Tuscaloosa.

ASU over Texas Tech

I'd rather Texas Tech just run the table and eliminate the possibility of a healthy ASU team sneaking in down the stretch.

I also have an astronomical amount of money on Texas Tech, as should everyone. They cover every weekend.

People keep saying this but they’re a 6 win team at best. They are not a resume builder regardless of what happens
