With our two corners being arguably the best duo in the country, the focus turns to our safeties. Who do you think starts the season as starter at safety and who do you think finishes the season as the starters at safety

So no Sage Ryan this year in your opinion?

Harris and Ward.

I think Safety play will dramatically improve... so I expect Harris to be much better. Assuming he fully healthy

I see a mix of Ward, Burns, DDjr and Sage Ryan. Probably gonna have a lot of 3 safety looks this year

The kid from Nicholls who just committed may have a role

I think DDjr will be a tweener at OLB

Harris, Ward, Sage, Burn, Langlois will get snaps

I haven't been impressed with Harris even though he's the veteran. I can easily see Sage or Burns passing him up if they make plays.

Harris, not saying you are wrong and just from th seniority aspect of him he probably gets the start.

But damn, I don’t think his play has warranted his starting, he just gets burnt too much always seems a step behind and out of position.

If someone has a different take on it, I would luv to hear it so it changes my mind, but if I am an OC he is one I am targeting to win my one-on-one battles.

No schollie for him unless we’re doing some Bama class configuring or he’s a walk on. Can he play immediately as a walk on if going from FCS to FBS?

I would think so with all the covid driven rule changes but I’m not sure

It’s a good get at a position you can never have enough of, so I’m thrilled to have him on board.

I could see him in a honey badger role in the box. Would be interesting to see how he handles the step up in size and speed.

The youngsters are gonna be pushing Harris hard. Sometimes that kind of competition and pressure pushes the upperclassman to the next level.
