losing to Troy and state by 30 then shitting the bed against Notre Dame is a bad start. Not to mention firing the OC he handpicked after one season

So you’re not an O fan, but you’re optimistic that LSU will do great this year?

You're saying a coach who's best season is 9 wins and one who averaged more wins than that per season for 7 years, national title included, deserve the same amount of respect?

I guess I could see that. I have a bit of cautious optimism, a bit.

Yes...but that's just me. I don't lower the standard...for O or anyone else. Miles should have been fired sooner too...

So much for being logical and objective.

You're in this very thread lowering standards. What the frick are you talking about?

Facts? I think I've made it pretty well known I think you are by far the worst poster on this site. It is literally like you lose your shite on anything positive for lsu...and immediately jump in guns blazing to any positive thread...shitting on any optimism.

But you’re making excuses for O losing to Troy?

Oh my bad am I being negative for asking that?
Not sure what’s okay to ask you silly pumpers.

Would one not argue interim and actual HC are different in at least one major factor?

Hiring of staff?

Not firing of staff? Firing Cam Cameron and Bradley Dale Pevoto? Not good? You wish they were still at LSU?

quote:

And further when hiring staff the most important hires are Coordinators?

No doubt. When Kiffen fell through he hired the only offensive Broyles Award Candidate from the previous year. The only guy to beat the team that took Alabama to the wood shed in the national championship game. Did you think it was a bad hire at the time?

quote:

Would it shock you to know that O has been hired 2X to be full time HC.

Are you a drama queen hoping for some amazingly blown away answer because someone didn't know he was the HC at Ole Miss and now at LSU?

O
quote:

got frustrated with Canada many times culminating with a direction that Canada stop with all the presnap motion for the Troy game that led to an unprecedented in the history of college football meeting with the AD and Coordinators.

In the first half of one game. LSU had committed an unreal amount of penalties leading up to the game. That is only reason besides, the fact that two true freshmen were starting on the O-line.

quote:

At both OM and here he let it leak that Lane Kiffin was his 1st choice

Have no idea or info to disprove. I'm sure it was horrible though. How many National Championships did Kiffen win at Alabama as OC?

0-4.

9-4

Look I hope it works out and we have a great season and great offense

Sure you do. I'm sure you don't think of Badara Traore when thinking of JUCO O-linemen and only give credit to Eaux for Damien Lewis.

But a fair look at ones resume is fair.

His resume the last decade is quite impressive.

quote:

Again I hope it works. But if past is prologue? Well let’s all hope it’s not.

Sure you do. That's why you made the longest post on the rant this year. What past? the past last decade or last year, or the last decade which includes USC and LSU as an interim?

How the frick am I lowering the standard? I've stated if orgeron doesn't deliver he should be fired. Period.

I like the direction of the program, but he has to produce. I just believe 6-2 is not terrible, given all the issues lsu had this past season. But, make no mistake, he has to produce this year.

I also say anything less than 10 wins would be a disappointment So much negativity I tell ya. I’m in your head and it’s hilarious

Doesn't sound like it.

Injuries and suspensions are real.

That's true. And it happens to lots of teams, every year. But 3 of last year's losses really shouldn't have happened.

quote:

when Jimbo had a top 5 preseason team and then went 6-6

I think Jimbo actually went 5-6 last year. But that being said, Fisher won 10 games or more in 6 of his 8 years at FSU. The other year where he didn't win 10 games, he won 9. Which is the most o has ever won in a single season. So Fisher, who has a 83-23 record and won a National Championship, gets a little more rope so to speak, than o.

quote:

it was ok because he lost his QB.

Important position. But I'm sure you're aware of that.

Excusing a 30 point loss to State and any loss to Troy because of injuries and suspensions is the definition of lowering standards.

It's ironic that you need that explained to you considering the number of time I've seen you accuse other posters of being "low IQ".
