I despise both teams but the answer to this question is easily Bama.

Not picking a fight here but Alabama is often viewed by journalists and most of us fans as the dirtiest program in college football history. USC has proven it's dirtiness more recently but the whole Landon Collins' girlfriend's scholarship and new red convertible doesn't make me believe that Alabama has changed its ways at all. Having to work in Alabama from time to time also makes me dislike Alabama more. Dumbest people on the planet in that state, bar none!

I don't care for USC, but hating them really comes off as jealousy. There is no reason to hate a team we haven't played in however many years. And to hate them MORE than your biggest division foe is stupid.
I both hate and respect BAMA football more than USC.

hitting the courvoisier a little early? USC (like Alabama) is one of the all time great programs. Their run in the 2000's was epic. If that didn't earn your respect, your respect means nothing because its totally biased.

if you are talking all time, so is USC. In recent times, Alabama was declared a dynasty by SI after beating Texas. Saban has made a God by the national media before then. There is a degree of self fufilling prophecy there. They beat only 3 FBS teams with a winning record last year. no one every questioned it because they are in the SEC (never mind that 5 of their 7 SEC wins were over teams that were 6-6 or worse) and they are Bama. Great program no doubt, but they do get more benefit of the doubt than others, including LSU.

How quick we are to forget the split NC and the media coverage of them going to for third NC in a row after 04'.

USC for me. They get all this media attention being in the 2nd largest media market with no NFL team. Then add the fact that their coach is a freakin smart a-- living off his Dad's reputation.
Respect BAMA and will never forget and always appreciate that Saban did bring the glory of LSU football back to greatness with the 2003 National Championship. Pull for them when representing the SEC in non-conference games. But always pull against them in all SEC games.

No contest, USC.
Saban/Alabama is our friend. Any time we beat Alabama we should have a chance at the National Championship. Alabama is part of the mystic that makes the SEC attractive to recruits. The reputation of the SEC keeps the blue chips coming.
If we can't win the crown, its a win win for Alabama or another SEC team to win it.

They have to play one or two losable games per year, and they often lose one of their non-losable games (I recognize how dumb that sounds)...but they never lose their cheerleader media pundits.
