He wasn’t good at practice. Effort wasn’t there. You earn your chances in practice. He wasn’t there getting extra work along with the other guys. He didn’t put in the effort other guys did. When you are behind because you were with another sport you should want all the extra work you can get to catch up. He didn’t do that. It’s not just as simple as he didn’t get to play. There were reasons he didn’t get to play. He didn’t earn it in practice.
