I honestly don't think he will make it to this game.

Yeah, he could be fired before then. If he struggles against Jax St, Mississippi, and loses to Auburn, he may be gone.

Harris, I think he gets benched this weekend, unless they put him in the shotgun.

I hope they turn it around really. Possible.

Sad. I wanted Les to get it right. He hasn't and he won't. Any further success will be on talent alone.
I think mostly any past success was also based on this same criteria. Imagine what good coaching in addition to the talent might have produced - instead of only a SabanBama dynasty, an LSU dynasty - kind of like the days when UF, FSU, and UM were duking it out in Florida during Spurrier and Bowden's heydays.

To OP, I doubt if Harris will get benched unless he does something that is felonious off the field. See JJ.

I pegged you for being smarter than this

The "wins on talent alone" is the dumbest shite ever posted on a sports message board

I honestly don't think Etling or Scott would be any better but I do think Miles will eventually bench Harris in a last ditch effort to show he is capable of change after it's too late.

They had an entire offseason to come up with something different and get a QB ready. Clearly Miles and Cameron are not capable of doing that.

I think he will ride his pride out into the sunset before ever doing this, but that's just me

Okay. I'll give you that if you take it as LITERAL as it seems you may. What I SHOULD have said is, he will win the games in which he has a distinct talent edge.

So, beating Miss St will not truly be on "talent alone"...but, I believe Les will be 'out-coached' and will prevail because the talent is significantly superior.

LSU nearly beat Wisconsin and I believed they were going to pull it out....but, it would NOT have changed the obvious and it would have been only because the Talent overcame the poor coaching / preparation.

Miles! He his teachers pet is Harris. He is the second coming of JJ. Les would rather get fired than to bench Harris!

Most people said the same thing last year about Jennings. LSU fans have the memory of a goldfish

That is his point.

BEFORE the season began, many were saying "Jennings will play. Harris will not get the chance, etc"

His point is those saying that were incorrect

Can will get canned either way. NO new coach would retain him. If he were forced, that coach wouldn't come here.

They will both happen within 24 hours of each other so Harris has to be benched first. In true CLM style, he will wait until it is too late to make a decision.

So Cam has no control of and isn't responsible for what we saw Saturday offensively?
If you think letting Miles go will magically make the offense better?
I think we need a fresh start.

Replace Miles, Cam and Grimes.
Move Miles to a position where he can recruit without the ability to call plays.

Sadly Les isn't going anywhere, with politics and the LSU administration involved Les will be the coach the end of the season and next year too. Sadly....
