Bama ranked number one and LSU number two or....
LSU ranked number one and Bama number two?
Both scenerios are possible but I would prefer to knock Saban off his high horse and have the Bammers number one when they come to town.

Roovelroe - Thanks for the education. I know how to spell scenario now. Seriously, thanks.

regardless of the situation, there is no way Saban is coming to Death Valley the first time since he left and leaving with a W.

But I would rather have us as #2 because I know Saban would have a huge head coming into the game, and after beating him, it would just be sweeter

Plus, I don't see Bama jumping 7 slots ahead in the next two weeks. Granted they did beat Georga, but IMHO, they were severely over-rated to begin with. But pakowitz is right, we need to focus on playing Florida in the Swamp before we worry about Saban

how about neither, I really dont think this young LSU team will be undefeated come bama,

at FL
at USC
UGA at home

I serious don't think we will go 3-0 before bama

i could care less where we are ranked untill bowl selection day...being ranked one just puts a bigger target on your chest...as if there wont be a big enough one on sabans when he comes in to TS

FL and UGA maybe... but USC?? Seriously? They lost to Vandy, the redheaded stepchild of the SEC

Les Miles would be furious if Saban came in here and left with a "W"

Man, If Ole miss and Alabama can bring UF and UGA down at home surely LSU has a good chance of doing it too.

And S. Carolina will be a better chance than both above.

How about LSU #1 in the Coaches Poll and Bama #1 in the AP Poll. That would be the game of all games.

Actually, there is a very good possibility that both scenarios play out.

AP Coaches
1. Bama 1. LSU
2. LSU 2. Bama

I want them to be #1. It'd be cool to say we beat the #1 ranked team.

With the Saban factor on top of an already huge game coupled with Bama above LSU in the polls ... if that scenario played out and Bama is #1 and LSU is #2, this could possibly be the most electric atmosphere in the history of college football.

Unfortunately, both teams will likely have one loss by then and it will likely be a 6vs7 matchup or something along those lines. I'm very cool with that too as it would still be a HUGE game. I nonetheless would prefer Bama be ranked ahead of the Tigers ... it'll give the crowd an extra "edge."

We just need to go 2-1 the next 3 games and all is set up on a silver platter for us to finish the season strong, win the SEC and go play for it all in Miami.
