Is it common for a successful nfl O line coach on a top 4 seeded team, to jump to college like that? Is that a lateral move?

He is an “assistant line coach”, not THE OL coach. Thinking this is a great hire & knowing he would need a new guy, he was really on top of it. How many times have assistants left programs & it take weeks to announce a replacement.

Why? The O-Line had a lot of highly rated players

Iunderstand the move to get a promotion as OC.
The move to the mess at BYU is odd.
Makes me wonder if Grimes see trouble ahead at LSU...

Probably because a lot of smarter people have boycotted the NFL, me included. Your prediction of big Lsu games is uncanny though. Lol. Even you have to laugh at how awful you are

Lol...so he sees trouble ahead at Lsu and runs to a program that will likely have a new head coach after next year. Lmao. You ever think he was shown the door?

His handing of the OLine coaching situation was absolutely top notch.

Yep...even I agree here.

Wait..., did I though? I was told I'd never be happy with ANYTHING he EVER does? frick, I'm conflicted.

I'm saying I'm happy, but I'll need some folks here to tell me how I really feel so that I can be sure.

Alleva should recognize Oregeronski's accomplishments, give him a raise and reset his buyout to the original amount.

He handled the situation well, no doubt about that.

theres 2 OL commits that may now decommit.

I won't say he did a bad job, but lets see if LSU can hang on to at least the JUCO OT then I'll be pleased.
